The center conductor comes up through the radials and the braid mushrooms under them. Then solder.
(The globs are foam glue that will be removed)
The radials go in straight, then bent down 30 degrees.
Solder top whip to center ...then slip cap on.

FM STEREO DIPOLE ANTENNA/Comcast cable...it's hard to find one already cut to 5 feet (4'11")...here you bend the center at the ends to the collar..then solder there.
